Wildkits Ready To Get the Ball Rolling
Last season, the Evanston Township High School girls soccer team won the Maine East Regional title but lost to Loyola Academy in the Maine South Sectional semifinals to finish with an overall record of 19-6.

Justin Wynn 3-on-3 Tournament
More than 200 third- through sixth-graders participated in the annual Justin Wynn Leadership Academy 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament on March 14 at Evanston Township High School’s Beardsley Gym. Proceeds of the tournament will benefit True North Treks, an Evanston organization that uses peer support and mindful awareness practices to help teens and young adults diagnosed with cancer.

ETHS Boys B-ball Lose in Sectionals
The Wildkits shot a season low 28 percent from the field and couldn’t catch up after falling behind 9-0, bowing to Lake Forest by a 54-47 margin and ending their season with a 20-9 record.

ETHS Boys B-ball Team Wins Regional Title
Sure enough, the Kits beat Deerfield 47-33 in the Central Suburban League Showcase game, which is a matchup of the two CSL division winners. The Kits were led by sophomore Nojel Eastern and senior Elijah Henry, both of whom were named to the CSL South All-Conference team. Nojel scored 11 points and had three assists, and Elijah tallied 10 points and seven rebounds in the victory.

'Girls Play Sports' Increases Participation in Athletics
It started on the playground four years ago. "Girls don’t play sports." That’s what Erin Livatino, a 5-year-old kindergartner, was told by a group of first-grade boys playing soccer at her elementary school. She told her parents the story that night.

Girls B-ball Crush St. Charles
Just days after celebrating a second chance win over a team they had already lost to this season --- Stevenson --- the Kits avenged a Thanksgiving tournament loss Saturday night at Beardsley Gym by crushing St. Charles East 56-35.
