The next RoundTable Artist’s Weekend will be June 5-7 at the Frame Warehouse, 814 Dempster St., and will feature the works of Michelle Korte Leccia.
Ms. Leccia says Encounters and connections in the material and spiritual worlds inspire me to process my experiences with textures and colors that unfold into curious compositions. These creations suggest visions of a dreamer, maker and observer; reconstructing visions and layers of realities into tangible works of art. Integral to my practice is the use of post-consumer items, street found objects, discarded and asking to be transformed.
She adds a current project, Wishing Wells – The Expansion Project, follows “the inspiration of concentric circles that radiate outward as a coin hits a pool of water, carrying intentions and hopes from an individual’s center to a collective consciousness.”
There will be a wine-and-cheese reception for Ms. Leccia from 7 to 9 p.m. on June 6.
