The power was lost due to a problem with a KV line, a high capacity distribution line, Mr. Burvick said. He said the cause of the problem was not immediately obvious and speculated it could be due to an animal incursion, age of the line or other factors. He said Commonwealth Edison was continuing to investigate the cause of the problem.
