T-Mobile and the Cook County Sheriff’s office reached out to many businesses county-wide for help in collecting used cell phones, and two Evanston businesses answered the call.

The cell phones will be refurbished and provided to senior citizens, who can use them to call 911 in case of emergency.

BooCoo Cultural Center,

, and Great Harvest Bread Company,

2126 Central St.
