Evanston Township High School‘s girls varsity volleyball team beat Loyola Academy on Aug. 27, 25-9 and 25-13. The Kits Ali Gossen had 8 kills, Delaney Clesen had 23 assists and Linnea Lukatch and Megan McCareins each had 14 digs.

 “I am proud to say that we came out without an ‘first game jitters’ this year, said head Coach Pamela MacPherson. “The girls looked confident and the communication on the court was strong. Captains Megan McCareins and Ali Gossen both had strong showings.”

The junior varsity beat Loyola, 25-19 and 26-24. The freshman A team lost 14-25 and 10-25. The  freshman B team lost 7-25 and 17-25.
