The City of Evanston has announced that a pre-construction open house will be held on Sept. 9 from to to discuss the
Sheridan Roadimprovement project.
The purpose of the project is to install storm sewers, replace the existing water main, improve pedestrian safety and bicyclist accessibility, install traffic calming, intersection operation improvements, and rehabilitate roadway pavement. The work will take place on
Sheridan Roadbetween
South Boulevardand
Main Street. The project will also impact one block of
Kedzie Street westof
Sheridan Road.
At the meeting, the City will present information about the construction project including scope of work, schedule, construction stages, and public coordination.
The meeting will be held in the Parasol Room of the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center,
2100 Ridge Ave.The meeting will be accessible to persons with disabilities.
