Marge Lenoir-Davis was appointed Interim Director of Special Services, effective Sept. 15, said Superintendent Hardy Murphy at the District 65 School Board, meeting on Sept. 21. She replaces Geneva Oatman who resigned, said Dr. Murphy.
Ms. Lenoir-Davis previously served as the assistant director of special services in early childhood learning for about a year, and was special services supervisor from 1994 to June 2008. She has also served as an RTI (Response to Intervention) inclusion facilitator. Before holding administrative positions, she was a cross-categorical teacher. She has worked at School District 65 since 1983.
Mr. Lenoir-Davis said, “I am honored to be in a position to support the District, the teachers, the staff, the families, and the students.”
