Beyond Epilepsy, a support group for people with epilepsy and their families, will meet at 7 p.m. on Nov.12 in the ground-level meeting room at Evanston Hospital, 2650 Ridge Ave. Patrick Onuscheck, founder of Beyond Epilepsy, says, “Epilepsy affects 2.3 million Americans. Since 3 percent of the population will develop epilepsy or seizure disorder, there are hundreds of people in our community who have epilepsy. This support groups is designed to create an opportunity for support and discussion of issues directly affecting people with epilepsy.” The group is free and open to anyone who has or is affected by epilepsy.
Future meetings are planned for 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month. For more information, contact Mr. Onuscheck at 847-859-2362.
