Candidiates wanting a chance at the lottery for top ballot position filed their petition signatures today  after nearly three months of circulation. At least four of the Democratic candidates vying to succeed Julie Hamos as state representative for the 18th District – Jeff Smith, Eamon Kelly, Patrick-Keenan-Devlin and Eb Moran – were standing in line well before daylight on Oct. 26, the first day to officially file petitions. Robyn Gabel, the fifth candidate, said a member of her staff filed her petitions.
