The City of Evanston Health and Human Services will hold two free vaccination clinics this weekend at Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave. There is no charge for the vaccination; the clinics are first come, first served for the priority groups mentioned below and are dependent upon the availability of the vaccine. The Saturday clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; the Sunday clinic will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Priority groups, as designated by the Centers for Disease Control, are as follows:

  • Pregnant women;
  • Persons who live with or provide care for infants aged <6 months (e.g., parents, siblings, and daycare providers);
  • Health-care and emergency medical services personnel;
  • Persons aged 6 months – 24 years; and
  • Persons aged 25-64 years who have medical conditions that put them at higher risk for influenza-related complications.
