The Evanston Symphony Orchestra will hold its annual
concert “An Evanston Symphony Christmas” at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 6th
at the Evanston Township High School auditorium.

Sponsored by Romano Brothers & Co., an Evanston investment firm, the
concert features music the whole family can enjoy.  Highlight of the
concert will be Winter from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons featuring ESO
Concertmaster Julian Arron as soloist, accompanied by dancers from the
Evanston Dance Ensemble with original choreography.  Music selected by
Music Director Lawrence Eckerling  for the 2009 concert includes a varied
program of other seasonal favorites including holiday carols and the
Hallelujah Chorus from Handel’s Messiah.

The concert also will feature the 100-voice Evanston Symphony Festival
Chorus along with madrigals and minstrels.

This is the fifth year that Romano Brothers is sponsoring the event, which
annually attracts audiences of more than 1,000.   Tickets are priced at
$23 for adults and $10 for children with special family packages
