The new art exhibition “Somatic” will open on Nov. 18 at Noyes Arts Gallery in the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes St. An artist reception, free and open to the public, will be held 3 to 5 p.m. on  Nov. 22 in the gallery.

“Somatic” showcases artworks related to the human body, including kimonos by Loni Diep, works of embroidery by Lindsay Obermeyer and mixed-media art by Renee Prisble Una. The exhibition will remain on display through Jan. 10. The Noyes Art Gallery hours are 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m.–6 p.m. on Sunday.
