The Central Street Business Association announces its annual Holiday Open House, Sunday Dec. 6, from 12-5 pm. Many shops on Central Street in north Evanston (just west of Green Bay Road at the 1900-2100 block of Central Street) will offer special sales, refreshments, in-store entertainment and seasonal surprises.
Some of the participating businesses include Stella, Perennials, Lois & Co., Table Manners, George Ritzlin Antique Maps and Prints, Allegro Dance, Maya Papaya and Tony Macaroni Children’s Boutique, Montoya Fiber Studio and The Spice House.
Central Street has begun a “Shop Local” campaign and is receiving tremendous support from the community and continues to grow and come together in making this shopping district distinctive and thriving. As a thank you and much needed celebration, The Central Street Business Association opens its doors on Sunday Dec. 6 to toast and cheer to good things to come for its long established and new businesses and for the people who believe in retaining personal charm and excellent personal customer service in this charming retail district.
Come out for a great afternoon of fun, food and great shopping!
