A 16-year-old student at Evanston Township High School was arrested on Nov. 18 for having a knife in the school. The high school’s website reported that the student “waved the knife in a hallway after classes were dismissed. An administrator intervened and confiscated the knife. Nobody was injured.” According to the daily crime bulletin of the Evanston Police Department, the student was arrested by Officer Messing and charged with aggravated assault with a knife.
