The Evanston Arts District will host an open house from 4 to 7 p.m. on Dec. 14 to bring the neighborhood together for an evening of delicious food and local art.
The event, hosted by the culinary center Now We’re Cookin’ and the art metalworkers of Great Lakes Art Studio, will feature talented local artisans/businesses such as Peggy Robinson Jewelers, a new leather-working studio, and MSI-Healing (a meditation and green products studio) who will join the hosts in opening their doors to welcome neighbors and friends. Culinary products, jewelry, sculpture, photography, leather goods and other art will all be on display and available for purchase. Light appetizers and wine will be served.
This is an opportunity to support the Evanston arts community, pick up unique holiday gifts and get acquainted with new neighbors. Long known as the Dr. Hill Community, this area is bustling with creative artists and food connoisseurs, is increasingly acknowledged as the up-and-coming Evanston Arts District. The public is invited to join these local businesses in a warm and friendly holiday celebration.
