The Ted Fund’s “Car Hop” benefit, held last month, attracted nearly 150 persons and raised $60,000 for the organization that offers summer-camp scholarships to District 65 students.

This past year, the Ted Fund offered summer camp scholarships and school year mentoring to 100 children. It sponsors at least six children from each of District 65’s elementary schools for a period of three years.

The Evanston YWCA North Shore is providing free lessons in their Learn to Swim program to the Ted Fund kids and their extended families.
