The high school years can present a range of challenges to adolescents and their parents. During their four years in high school, students have their own, unique experience. Some find the transition from middle school to high school easy, but then hit a bump after a year or two. Many factors in physical, emotional and social development come into play.

Evanston Township High School PTSA’s Feb. 9 program, “Social and Emotional Health of High School Students” will include representatives of community agencies such as The Bridges Early Childhood and Adolescent Program of NorthShore University HealthSystem and ETHS social workers who will discuss ways to help make the high school experience a good one. There will be time for questions and small group discussions.

The community is invited to join ETHS parents and students for the PTSA program at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 9 at 7:30 Room S-214 of ETHS, 1600 Dodge Ave.
