Knoxley C. Morrison, a 27-year old Skokie man, was found dead in the driver’s seat of a car parked on Fowler Avenue, just north of Main Street at about 10:55 p.m. on Jan. 14, said Commander James Pickett of the Evanston Police Department in a prepared statement. A window of the car was broken, and the man had an apparent gunshot wound to the head, said the Commander.
Commander Tom Guenther, Public Information Officer of the Evanston Police Department, told the RoundTable that death by suicide has been ruled out and the death is being treated as a homicide. He said the police are continuing to investigate the shooting. The North Regional Major Crimes Task Force is assisting in the investigation.
