Unofficial election results show a close race for state representative of the 18th District. With 81 of 82 precincts reporting, Robin Gabel is ahead of her nearest opponent by 154 votes. Ms. Gable has 26.94% of the votes. Patrick Keenan-Devlin and Eamon Kelly are close behind with 25.88 % and 25% of the votes respectively. Jeff Smith and Edmund Moran Jr. had 11.4% and 10.78% of the votes respectively. 

Larry Suffredin easily won the primary for Cook County Commissioner of the 13th District. With 194 of 197 of the precincts reporting, he has 79.6% of the vote. 

In the race for judge in subcircuits 9 and 9A, 182 of 185 precincts are reported, and it appears that Judge Geary Kull and Steven James Bernstein have won their primaries. In subcircuit 9, Judge Geary Kull has a comfortable lead of 1,002 votes over his nearest opponent. He has 36.07% of the vote, compared to 31.5% of his nearest opponent. In subcircuit 9A, Steven James Bernstein has a comfortable lead of 1,647 votes over his nearest opponent. He has 30.69% of the vote, compared to 23.9% of his nearest opponent.
