Haitian artisans suffered a severe setback when the earthquake flattened their homes and workshops. The income they need to rebuild will come from steady orders for their work from fair traders like Ten Thousand Villages. Through April 3 Ten Thousand Villages, 719 Main St., will donate to relief efforts in Haiti 20 percent of the price of Haitian crafts. The store is also offering 20 percent or more off all candleholders and candles. For more information, call 847-733-8258, or go to evanston.tenthousandvillages.com.
