Can Israel and the United States’ relationship with it survive a nuclear Iran?  Richard A. Baehr, co founder and Chief Political Correspondent of American will discuss “Israel and Obama:  The Iranian Nuclear Threat and the End of the Special Relationship” on Tuesday, March 23d at 7:00 p.m. at the Evanston Public Library.  He will examine the relationship between the United States and Israel and how it may be changing under the current Administration and the new nuclear threat posed by Iran.  Mr. Baehr is a national expert on Israeli, Middle Eastern and political issues and is a frequent contributor on numerous national and local television and radio programs and newspapers including The Wall Street Journal, Fox News, The Dennis Miller Radio Show, The Michael Medved Show and WTTW’s “Chicago Tonight.”  This lecture is free and open to the public and is the first in a three-part lecture series co-sponsored by the Evanston Public Library and the Republican Club of Evanston. 

In addition to Mr. Baehr’s presentation, the series will also host Mr. Steven W. Mack, President of Mack Investment Securities and a certified Financial Planner, who will discuss the effect of the national deficit on the economy and personal finances in “The Four Most Dangerous Words:  This Time is Different” on Wednesday, April 21. 

The series will conclude with Joseph A. Morris, Esq., a partner of the firm Morris & De La Rosa, who will discuss community organizing and its methodology in his examination of “Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals” on Wednesday, May 19.
