Evanston Firefighters Local 742 Friends of Firemen’s Park is selling engraved bricks as a fundraiser for the renovation of Fireman’s Park, Simpson Street at Maple Avenue.

Over the years, the park has fallen into disrepair and the Evanston Firefighters Local 742 is in the process of renovation of the park with the help of some of Evanston’s community groups.

The group seeks community sponsors who will buy a brick to help renovate the park. There are three levels of sponsorship:

Bronze Level ($100 donation)

Half brick (6 ¾”X 4 1/8″)

3 lines/10 characters per line

Silver Level ($175 donation)

Full brick (6 ¾” X 8 ¼”)

4 lines/13 characters per line

Gold Level ($250 donation)

Extra-large brick (8 ¼” X 13 ¾”)

6 lines/16 characters per line

All orders placed by June 1 are guaranteed to be installed prior to the July 22 rededication ceremony of Firemen’s Park.
