Secretary of State Jesse White’s Mobile Driver Services will give Illinois residents to renew, correct, or duplicate their drivers’ licenses and get identification cards at the Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave. in Evanston, on June 11, 10 a.m-2 p.m.
In order to renew a current driver’s license or identification card, applicants must present a current valid driver’s license or identification card. To apply for a duplicate or corrected license or ID, applicants must present two official forms of identification. Valid forms of identification include major credit cards, bills with an address and an official grade or high school transcript, as well as a current driver’s license or ID. Residents can find a full list of accepted forms of identification at Sect. White’s website at www.cyberdriveillinois.com.
In addition to ID services, the visit will also include a “Rules of the Road Review Course” from 9:30-11 a.m. The review will focus on safe driving techniques, current state traffic laws and participants will be given a practice written exam on the material covered to refresh the memory of Illinois drivers.
