The recipients of the North End Mothers’ Club three annual scholarships were named at the Evanston Township High School Awards night on May 18.

Jessica Williams, right, is the 60th annual recipient of the Senior Girl’s Honor Award.  Jessica is a member of the Varsity Cheerleading Team, QUEST, Central Suburban League Conference Leader, ETHS Theater, Principal Advisory Member and STAE participant. An aspiring physician, Jessica will pursue her education at Howard University, where she will study Biology.

The Joanne Murphy Trautwein Music Scholarship was awarded to Nathaniel (Nate) Woodring.  Nate has been an integral part of concert band, symphony orchestra, jazz band, jazz combos, pit orchestra, Yamo orchestra and master singers. Nate will pursue his education at Michigan State University, where he will major in music with an emphasis in jazz studies.

The Nursing Scholarship was presented to Emma Ashton, center. Emma has served the local and foreign communities through Best Buddies, ASP Missionary service trips and as a Freshman Ambassador.  Emma was a member of the ETHS golf, gymnastics and track teams and will attend the University of Iowa in the fall.
