The Evanston History Center’s annual ice cream social returns this year with a magic show, face painting, music, and ice cream. The annual ice cream social returns this year on Saturday, July 24 from 1-4 pm at 225 Greenwood Street (Rain or Shine).The Dawes House will be open with free admission to everyone. Location: Evanston History Center, 225 Greenwood St.

– 1-2PM: The Ridgeville Band

 – 2-3PM:  Kevin Kelly’s Magic Show

– 1-4PM: Face Painting for Kids

– 1-4PM: Free Tours of the Dawes House and Free Admission to our exhibit: “Lifting as We Climb: Evanston Women and the Creation of a Community.”

Plus: Popcorn, Frozen Custard, Games for Kids, A History Display, and a Visit from Frances Willard. The event is free and open to everyone. Generous Support for the 2010 Ice Cream Social is Provided by Andy’s Frozen Custard at 719 Church Street in Evanston.
