As the annual Faces of Evanston photography contest sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Evanston passes the halfway point for entries, the club has announced the judges for this year’s contest, “Legacy.”
The judges include Mark Thomas, local photographer; Norah Delaney, executive director of the Evanston Art Center; Chris Schneberger, vice president of Perspectives gallery; and Dino Robinson, director and founder of Shorefront Productions.
The winners in this year’s contest will be announced on Sept. 23 at the Noyes Street Cultural Center, 927 Noyes St. Top prizes of $250, $100
and $50 will be awarded to the winners. After the showing at the Cultural Center, the exhibit will move to First Bank & Trust in October.
In succeeding months the photos will be shown at a number of public venues throughout Evanston.
The contest closes Aug. 31.
Entries may be viewed and photos submitted at Evanstonkiwanis.org or FacesofEvanston.org.
