A time may arrive when you need assistance deciding who will care for your home, your assets, and your health. You have the right to make health care decisions in advance.  A free seminar will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21 at the Levy Center, 300 Dodge Ave.  You will learn about types of Advance Directives (including powers of attorney, living wills, and more), what happens if you don’t have them, and what your proxy has to do.  Adults of any age are encouraged to attend this session presented by Eric Parker, an attorney whose practice includes issues facing the elderly.  The seminar is sponsored by the City of Evanston Commission on Aging.  For more information, call 847-866-2919.
