Northwestern University Football and the City of Evanston are teaming up to “Paint Evanston Purple.”

On Sat., Sept. 25,  the Wildcats are taking on Central Michigan in a football match and hosting Evanston Day at Ryan Field. “Evanston Day is a great opportunity to come together as a community and show Evanston’s support for the Wildcats as they take on the Chippewas of Central Michigan,” say City officials.

A Paint Evanston Purple Pep Rally will be held on Thurs., Sept. 23 at 6 p.m. in front of Rotary International World Headquarters, 1560 Sherman Ave.  Northwestern All-American and Evanston resident, Mike Adamle along with Mayor Tisdahl, Northwestern President Schapiro, Coach Fitzgerald and the team, Northwestern Cheerleaders will be present.
