The League of Women Voters will be holding public candidate forums the first two Sundays in October for the races for 13th Cook County District, 18th Legislative District, and 9th Congressional District.

“The League forums will be the only chance for voters to hear the candidates debate the issues face-to-face before early voting starts on October 12,” said Susan Black, president of the League of Women Voters of Evanston. “The presentation of non-partisan candidate forums is a rarity, and we encourage our citizens not to miss this opportunity to become better-informed voters.”

All forums are free and open to the public. Attendees will be able to submit questions for the candidates at the forums.
