On Sept. 22, residents of Evanston took part in Car Free Day, an event encouraging people to forego their automobiles for environmentally friendlier means of transportation throughout Chicagoland. From 6 to 9 a.m. people came to the event at the Davis Street Station and participated in a bike rally and raffle for numerous prizes.
