The quilters of Trinity Lutheran Church in Evanston/Skokie celebrated another year of making quilts for Lutheran World Relief. The 26 quilts made this year were donated to LWR to be distributed to third-world countries, where they provide warmth, comfort and even shelter to those who have none.

Trinity members have been making quilts for more than 25 years and estimate they have sent more than 2,000 quilts around the world, turning donated fabric and yarn into a patchwork of love.
