A fundraiser to promote equal access to treatment for AIDS patients in developing countries will be held 4-6 p.m. on Nov. 27 in Room A241 at Evanston Township High School, 1600 Dodge Ave. Northeastern (Boston) Law Professor and Health GAP Activist Brook Baker and Evanston singer/songwriter Kristen Lems will be the featured guests at the event.The fundraiser is sponsored by Health GAP (Global Access Project), an action-oriented global AIDS advocacy group created in early 1999 by U.S.-based AIDS and human rights activists, public health experts, fair trade advocates and concerned individuals dedicated to achieving equitable access to treatment and care for people living with HIV/AIDS in developing countries.
