Evanston City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz announced the appointment of Nancy Radzevich as the City’s new Economic Development Manager. Ms. Radzevich began with the City today.

Ms. Radzevich comes to Evanston from Boston where she has worked since 2007 as Vice President for Planning and Permitting for the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency. MassDevelopment is the state’s finance and development authority working with private and public-sector clients to stimulate economic growth by eliminating blight, preparing key sites for development, creating jobs and increasing the state’s housing supply.

Prior to her work at MassDevelopment, Ms. Radzevich was the Chief Planner for the City of Newton, Massachusetts for seven years and has worked in other key planning and development positions in both Massachusetts and Illinois.

Ms. Radzevich is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois
