Elizabeth Ann Brown Gregory, affectionately known as “Peggy” was born on July 12, 1930 in Jacksonville, FL, to Hattie Mae Maree and Clarence Brown, Sr. She had two siblings, Clarence Jr. and Jesse Kay.
Peggy relocated to Evanston, IL as a young girl and attended Clarke University for two years, where she majored in English. She married her husband of 54 years, Robert Gregory, on April 17, 1953 and together they had 5 children, who will always cherish their mother for being the wonderful woman and role model that she was.

After retiring from Kellog she went on to work for Dr. Steven Bundra, who was her physician and became a close friend of the Gregory family.
