Ashraf Manji, a volunteer producer at the Evanston Community Television (ECTV) has recently completed taping an hour-long, in-depth interviews with each of the five candidates running for the Evanston Township High School District 202 School Board positions .The shows are part of an on-going series Evanston Issues hosted by the former first ward alderman Art Newman.

Mr. Newman asked each candidate essentially the same set of questions dealing with their backgrounds and qualifications as well as their positions on a variety of issues ranging from the length of the school day or school year to pension reform. The shows provide each candidate an opportunity to present themselves to the community. In turn, they provide citizens an opportunity to assess each candidate and decide who to vote for.

The shows will be cablecast on ECTV cable channel 6 on: Mondays at  8 p.m.,  Tuesdays at 1 p.m., Wednesdays at 5 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and Saturday at 8 p.m.

They will also be cablecast on the High School cable channel 18 on, but the show times have yet to be determined.

The shows are also online. The names of the candidates and the links to the online shows are:
