Mark Metz is a leader, dedicated to improving and preserving the treasure that is Evanston Township High School. During his term on the Board of Education for District 202, he has been a constant advocate for students, parents, and staff. He has provided excellent oversight while on the Board, always deliberate and measured in his advocacy. His commitment to insuring that all voices be heard has helped him as he works collaboratively with fellow Board members. His service and acumen prepare him for the complicated financial and curricular decisions ahead. Mark looks for factual and data driven information, a basis for decision making that is consensus driven and has the best outcome for students in mind. His reasoning is sound and actions firm. Mark’s love of community supports his beliefs and sustains him.
