On March 11 at 10:26 a.m., police responded to a burglary in progress in the 700 block of Case Street. Once in the area, Evanston officers observed two males matching the description of the offenders. Police pursued the males in a brief foot chase, and affected a street stop. After further investigation the males, one 21 years-old and the other 16 years-old, were charged with criminal trespass to a residence said Commander Tom Guenther, chief information officer of the Evanston Police Department. 

The juvenile was also charged with burglary after recovering stolen computes taken in a burglary in the 600 block of South Blvd.
