The article in the March 30 issue of the RoundTable, “Snow Removal Stickers Drifting Into Town, is an April Fools story.
The City posted this notice on their site this morning:
“This week’s Evanston Roundtable has an amusing story about the City’s plans to require stickers to shovel snow like the stickers required for leaf bags.
“The story is dated April 1. April Fools Day. The article is a joke….
“The City of Evanston has no plans to change its snow removal operations, although we did think about forwarding all 311 calls on April 1 to the offices of the Evanston Roundtable.”
