The Family Focus Evanston Auxiliary Board will host its 27th annual awards benefit to support programs and children of Family Focus Evanston from 4 to 7 p.m. on April 17 at Prairie Moon restaurant, 1502 Sherman Ave.
Family Focus offers innovative, community-based programs that provide quality activities for children and help parents, grandparents, and foster and adoptive parents gain confidence and competence as the primary educators of their children.
Second Baptist Church and Ethyl Doyle will receive Imani awards. A President’s Award will be presented to the Kiwanis Club of Evanston and the Weissbourd-Holmes award to Jose and Sonia Alfaro. The benefit will include a light buffet, silent auction, raffle and live music.
Tickets are $65 per person.
