Evanston City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz and Aldermen Coleen Burrus and Mark Tendam are among the local “celebrity waiters” who will be serving up all-you-can-eat pizza at Giordano’s on May 3 as part of the Rotary Club of Evanston’s annual PizzaFest fundraiser. The event will be held from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Giordano’s downtown Evanston location, 500 Davis St.

Joining the celebrities in serving pizza, soft drinks and beer will be members of the Rotary Club of Evanston, which has hosted the annual event for many years in downtown Evanston.

“We’re at a new location this year and very excited to be working with Giordano’s as our partner,” said Rotary Club of Evanston president Gene Servillo.

The menu includes thin crust pizza, soft drinks and beer. Public parking is available on Hinman Avenue just east of the Giordano’s entrance on Davis Street.

Proceeds from the annual event benefit youth-focused projects and non-profit organizations in Evanston. This year’s beneficiaries include youth-oriented initiatives by Y.O.U. of Evanston, First United Methodist Church, the Childcare Network of Evanston and the McGaw Y.

Advance tickets, at $15 for adults and $7 for children, are available by calling 847-866-9777 or visiting www.evanstonrotary.org. Tickets will be $17 and $8 at the door.
