As part of the City’s effort to gather citizen input for the 2012 budget process, City staff members will be at the following places in Evanston giving information about how to participate. The City projects a shortfall of about $1.4 million in next year’s budget. In addition, City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz would like to take another $2 million from operating funds to use for capital improvements – creating a $3.5 million gap in General Fund for next year.

The outreach effort is called Engage Evanston.
