Three Crowns Park, a continuing care retirement communities located in northwest Evanston, is setting a challenge for Race Against Hate runners 62 and up. The race is on June 19 at Long Field. Three Crowns Park will award $250 to the fastest female and male winner of the 5k race who are 62 or older. “This award is a great opportunity to highlight the extremely active older adult population in Evanston and everywhere,” said Trimmy Stamell, YWCA Race Administrator.

“We are very excited to be a sponsor of the YWCA Ricky Byrdsong Memorial Race Against Hate,” said Gina Eshuis, Director of Marketing at Three Crowns Park.

Three Crowns Park residents, families, staff and friends will all walk the 5k as a team and will celebrate their finish at Three Crowns Park hospitality tent after the race.  “We invite all racers and attendees to come visit us on Long Field for refreshments and to congratulate our senior winners,” said Ms. Eshius.

The fastest male and female to complete the 5k run will receive $250 cash prize provided by Three Crowns Park.  Winners must be present after the race to receive their check.
