On June 3, Lincolnwood School hosted its first annual fifth-grade Willard School vs. Lincolnwood School kickball game. The kickball contest brought together the two schools to assist a fifth-grade student at Willard, who had attended Lincolnwood from kindergarten through fourth grade. The young man has fallen ill to Ewings Sarcoma, a form of cancer found in the bone and soft tissue. To help his family, the community came together to enjoy a great day outdoors while adding to a fund already begun by the families of both schools.
