The North End Mothers’ Club awarded its three annual scholarships to Zenani Greenwell, Emma Mihevic and Philip Lee.

Zenani, right, is the 61st recipient of the Senior Girl Honors Award. She immersed herself in Evanston Township High School academics, life and culture. She has been a cheerleader, a member of the Quest mentoring program, on the Peer Jury and an ETHS Student Ambassador. She will study political science and psychology at Howard University.

Emma, left, is the first recipient of the new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Scholarship. While at ETHS, she won several awards, including being recognized as an Illinois State Scholar, an AP Scholar, a Math Department Award Winner and a member of the National Honor Society. She was captain of the girls soccer and basketball Team. She will study biomedical engineering at Georgia Tech.

Philip received the Joanne Murphy Trautwein Music Award. An accomplished cellist, he served as first chair and section leader in the ETHS symphony orchestra and won numerous awards for his music playing. He plans to attend the University of Rochester, where he will study cello performance at the Eastman School of Music.
