At an Open House on July 7 District 65 students displayed their Digitales for teachers, family and each other at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center. Students worked with media arts and arts teachers from D65 schools, and used laptops donated to Fleetwood to create their own fractured Fairy Tales.
Patty Tzortzis, who helped organize the project, said it was very successful and received positive responses from students. Superintendent Hardy Murphy was at the open house and said that it allowed students to see the connection between what they learn in school and how it is applied in the world around them.
