Early childhood movement and music program Everybody Move Inc. is celebrating its 15th year serving thousands of Evanston area families of children 6 months to 4 years of age. Director and teacher Celeste Cifala Roy says it has been “a true joy” to greet her students daily at Dance Center Evanston with autoharp, puppets, scarves, hoops, balls, ramps and climbers and the happy refrain of, “Hello everybody, yes indeed!”

“There are days when I wonder how many times I have sung that song, but for these young children and their parents it is new and very exciting,” says Ms. Roy. The program, she says, enhances language development, physical skills, socialization and it is just plain fun.

Children are allowed to find their level of comfort at their own pace. There may be a child who sits and watches. Then there are the children who are never still. All styles of learning are welcome.

Everybody Move has also announced a new class – Everybody Move en español, taught by Karen Girolami Callam. The program’s web address is www.everybodymoveinc.com.
