Graduation day last June was doubly important for Gilo Kwesi Logan and his wife Natascha “Miah.”
Gilo Kwesi Logan earned a Ph.D. in adult and continuing education and Ms. Logan earned an M.B.A. She is the business manager, a program facilitator and a performing artist for S.O.U.L. Creations, a creative arts company Dr. Logan founded in the late 1990s. Ms. Logan also works as a student success coach for Northeastern Illinois University. Dr. Logan is a program specialist for Project Success at Northeastern Illinois University, where he is also an instructor in the Department of Justice Studies and African and African American Studies. He serves part-time as a facilitator and a performing artist for S.O.U.L. Creations. Their children Ulaiassi, left, and Olu Sekou, fifth-generation Evanstonians, are students at Washington School.
