On Oct. 28, at 7:21 a.m., members of the Evanston Police Department Neighborhood Enforcement Team and Skokie Police Department’s Canine Unit worked together and executed a search warrant at 2026 Green Bay Road. Detectives were not able to make contact with any occupants, and made a forced entry into the building, said Commander Tom Guenther, public information officer of the Evanston Police Department.
Detectives, with the assistance of the Skokie Police Department Canine Unit, began a systematic search of the residence and located sixteen individually wrapped suspect crack cocaine rocks and two digital scales, said the Commander. Police took a 22 year-old Evanston woman into custody. She was subsequently charged with two felony counts of unlawful possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver and unlawful possession of controlled substance.
