Residents and businesses can help make the holiday season joyful for needy Evanston families by making donations to the annual Holiday Toy and Food  Drive. Through Dec. 19, donations of unwrapped toys or non-perishable food items or both may be dropped off at community centers at the times and locations listed below. Chandler-Newberger Center, 1028 Central  St., Mon.- Fri. 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Sat. 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
