The first winter market of the season opened at 9 a.m. on Dec. 3 at the Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd.

Customers eagerly snatched up root and cold-weather, frozen berries and fresh-baked, frozen snacks and meals.

Among the vendors residents can expect to see at the indoor market are Crust and Crumb Bakers, Lake Breeze Organics, Tomato Mountain, Valley Ranch, Brunkow Cheese, Michigan Blueberries, C & D Family Farms, Patz Honey, Wayne Miller Fruits and Preserves, Laura’s Mentoring Gardens, De La Rue Patisserie, Defloured, Passion House Coffee and Ruth & Phil’s Ice Cream.

The market will continue Saturdays through late April, except Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.
